I'm very impressed with Rich from TSS Automotive. He is expert on repairing Subaru's and treats you like a partner in the planning and servicing of your car. He calls you back and is flexible on everything - making knowledgeable recommendations on repair and future servicing options to give you the best bang for the buck based on your personal driving needs. I love bringing my Crosstrek to Rich. He does what he can to take care of my vehicle so I can be safe on the road, especially in these Maine winters. He makes sure I have reliable transportation so I can work my two jobs. I have a hard tine trusting just anyone working on my cars, so to trust Rich, really says something. Rich is Mr. Subaru! 10 years as a Subaru Master Tech and now he's doing his own thing. I know something about cars and after 20 minutes together under my 09 Outback, it was clear that I was talking to someone who really knew his stuff. No charge for the diagnostic and the outcome was a suggestion that I keep driving it as the problem is not yet to a point that warrants the cost of the repair. Dealer as an alternative? Mega bucks for everything they can find!

Rich at TSS does a great job, fair prices. We have a Subaru Outback that had dropped valves. Rich did the repair and car is running great. You can tell he takes price in his work and is a Subaru experts. Very happy.

Really like these guys. They've been there for me when I needed routine maintenance, making it happen on my schedule, as well as helping me plan improvements and repairs. I've been seeing TSS for the past 2 years, since moving up into the North Country, and they've done me right. Super easy to work with very easy to schedule and communication is a breeze. After receiving such good service and advice last time, I brought my 2011 Subaru in and had the timing belt replaced as well as 2 other suspension issues that a dealer had recommended. Rich did a great job and repaired only one of the suspension issues as he determined that the other one was fine and not needing repair/replacement. He saved me at least $300 and further reinforced my positive experience. This is how you run a successful business!! Referrals and return business!!

Factory certified Subaru master mechanic services at non dealer rates. State inspection $40, replaced leaking power steering line for $160 incl parts. Fast and thorough work.

WOW!!! Professional, reliable, and extremely Fair. I brought my Outback there to diagnose an engine stalling problems. Rich identified that it was a manufacturer recall issue that I can only get completed at a Dealer at no charge. Any shop could have fixed the problem and charge me a bundle, but instead Rich earned my loyalty, all of my future business, and a wealth of positive recommendations!!!

MAGNIFICENT!!! If you are looking for a reputable and highly professional place to get your Subaru repaired where you know 100% that you are being treated and charged fairly, go no further!!! Richard Collins and his guys have assisted me more than once when my old car was broken down on the side of the road. Repairs were timely and my bill was more reasonable than any other repairs I have had done elsewhere.

We've been bringing our car to Rich for the past year and it is such a relief to have a mechanic we trust completely. He is thorough and communicates well with us. He has even checked in with us after work had been done to see how it was!

I've owned second (or third ) hand Subarus for more than 30 years and TSS is the best mechanic of all. He's superb at diagnosing the problem, explaining what needs to be done. He will give you solutions for the short term and the long haul. And his prices are really fair.

Rich is the owner and mechanic here at TSS. I have gone to him 2 times now for vehicle services and I can safely say his expertise on Subarus is too notch. He is super accommodating with requests and works with you throughout the repair. His prices are extremely reasonable and gets parts FAST.

I had Rich complete a valve lash job, install multiple upgraded components, and diagnose many electrical component problems over the past few months. He always finishes his work on time and keeps you informed as the fix progresses.

I live in Southern Mass. I have been to many shops too many times for simple work for the fact that I don't have the spare time to get it done myself. I'm never satisfied with any of their work. I have stopped going to them all together. It's a 3.5 hour drive to TSS and I will always drive up there to have Rich work on my Subaru. I will never trust another shop again. If he can't figure something out ( rarely happens) , he has multiple resources to fix the trickiest jobs.
